COLD FORK BUFFET MENUS

Our cold fork buffets are what we first started serving over 35 years ago and what gained us our excellent reputation. These menus are perfect for a summer party whether you’re celebrating a special birthday, wedding anniversary or just getting the family together. The dishes are all colourful, full of flavour and guaranteed to impress your guests. Build your own menu from the selection below, you’ll find something for everyone!

 
 

Meat

  • Thai beef fillet salad with mint, fresh coriander and Thai dressing

  • Chargrilled chicken Caesar salad with pancetta and croutons

  • Oriental duck salad with ginger, honey and soy

  • Smoked chicken and avocado salad

  • Platters of sliced smoked ham, topside of beef and turkey

  • Sliced peppered beef fillet with sugar snap peas, asparagus and broad beans

Fish

  • Seared salmon with fresh asparagus, lemon and honey dressing

  • Whole dressed poached salmon served with watercress and chive mayonnaise

  • Poached salmon fillets with dill and cucumber dressing

  • Thai king prawn salad with lime, fresh coriander and chilli

  • Hot-smoked salmon with avocado and new potatoes in a soured cream dressing

  • Chinese style soy-glazed salmon salad

Vegetarian

  • Coronation chickpea and jersey potatoes

  • Warmed French onion and gruyere tarte

  • Roast Mediterranean vegetables with goat’s cheese and Iranian couscous

  • Italian panzanella bread salad with tomatoes, black olives and fresh basil

  • Roast heritage beetroot with candied walnuts, pea shoots, and whipped feta

  • Roast Mediterranean vegetable tarte

    Vegan

  • Roasted aubergine with saffron creamy dressing, seeds and fresh basil

  • Giant couscous and spiced falafel with fresh tomatoes and cucumber with a maple and tahini dressing

  • Roast peppers with chickpeas and spring onions in a Mediterranean dressing

  • Roasted carrots with honey and tofu topped with salad and toasted sesame seeds

  • Bruschetta with heritage tomatoes, fresh asparagus and figs

  • Glazed black bean, lentil and caramelised onion pastry rolls

    Side Salads and Accompaniments

  • Traditional potato salad with soured cream and chive dressing (v)

  • Mixed tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad (v)

  • Mixed leaf and rocket salad with balsamic dressing (vegan)

  • Crushed new potato salad with olive oil, garlic, lemon and flat leaf parsley (vegan)

  • Watermelon, feta and mint salad (v)

  • Mixed rice salad with peppers, fresh coriander and pine nuts (vegan)
    All served with baskets of assorted warmed rolls and butter

    Dessert

  • Warmed French apricot and almond tarte

  • Pavlova filled with cream, strawberries and red berries

  • Dark chocolate roulade with white chocolate filling

  • Fresh fruit salad served with almond shortbread

  • Vanilla cheesecake served with summer berries

  • Tiramisu

 
 

Prices start from £48.00 per person based on 35 guests to include three main course dishes, three side dishes and three desserts, a selection of teas and coffee, crockery, cutlery and paper serviettes, uniformed service staff to serve the buffet, clear away and wash up for up-to four hours.
